Day In the Life

  • Curiosity & Engagement: Our program brings together some of the top voices in tech and education, and they're here to share their knowledge with you. The participants who actively engage, ask questions, and seek our conversations with volunteers, staff, and peers are often the ones who achieve the most.
  • Building Community: Whether it's bonding with your peers or networking with industry professionals, building these relationships is key. Participants who are open-minded and willing to step out of their comfort zones to engage with the tech community often find doors opening for them, both during and after the program.
  • Resilience and Willingness to Learn: The tech industry is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means resilience and a strong willingness to learn are crucial. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and keep an open mind as you navigate new concepts and ideas.
  • Leveraging Opportunities: Many of our highly motivated participants have received paid internship offers shortly after completing the program. This success is often a result of their proactive approach -- by engaging deeply with the program, asking questions, and networking, they positioned themselves as standout candidates.

To help you stay on track, we encourage you to set aside dedicated time each week to focus on your program work. Put commitments on your personal calendars. Treat this as a crucial part of your routine!"
